Odyssey

The pins are autobiographical: bottle caps, patches, and badges collected across travels, each one a marker of a place that left its mark.

Among them, a small "3" — placed on the strap for Miro, who turned three years old on the very day the mural was painted.

"Odyssey" is a mural painted by Neve on May 18, 2024 for the Pulpa Festival in Montesilvano, Pescara. It depicts a young boy, lit from behind as if by an inner light, carrying a large yellow backpack covered in pins and badges — each one a place, a journey, a memory. The work carries a simple and profound idea: we are, in large part, made of where we have been. The places we visit don't just pass through us — they stay, they accumulate, they become part of who we are. The child's gaze is direct and open, already carrying the weight and the richness of all the roads ahead.
