This mural was created by artist Neve in collaboration with Ivan il Poeta in 2009 at Cartiere Fabriano, Fabriano, curated by ArtKitchen for Cartiere Fabriano.

A large-scale mural commissioned by Cartiere Fabriano — one of Italy's oldest and most celebrated paper manufacturers — painted by Neve in collaboration with the poet Ivan il Poeta, curated by Art Kitchen. The work spans a long exterior wall of the Fabriano paper mills. Neve painted a siren holding a candle whose flame burns with water — an image of paradox, of beauty that defies its own nature. Ivan il Poeta's words are scattered across the wall in bold calligraphic lettering, weaving poetry into the visual composition as if the text itself were part of the landscape. The pairing of Neve's figurative hyperrealism with Ivan's poetic script creates a work that belongs equally to both — image and word inseparable, each giving the other meaning.
