BCG Milan – 5th Floor is an interior artification project created by artist Neve in 2016 for Boston Consulting Group in Milan, curated by Uncommon.
A complete painted environment across the 5th floor of BCG's Milan offices at Piazza del Duomo, curated by Uncommon. The project transforms the entire floor — restaurant, corridors, entrance, doors — into a continuous painted space where botanical elements and hyperrealistic figures share the same walls. The work is distributed across multiple rooms and surfaces. In the restaurant area, a large-scale mural covers the main wall: a woman with dark hair and red lips raises a glass of red wine to her face, her figure surrounded by autumn leaves and cherry blossoms in full color against a white ground — the image of pleasure and the season, at table. On the double doors of the same floor, a second woman — auburn hair, freckles, green eyes — emerges from a cascade of autumn leaves in green, yellow, and orange, painted across both panels of the doors with the seam running through her face. In the main shared space, a third work: a pair of eyes painted large-scale on the wall, heterochromatic — one eye blue, one dark — fading at the edges into warm ochre that dissolves back into white. Throughout the corridors and staircase, the botanical thread continues: large maple and sycamore leaves painted directly on walls and around doorways, painted branches extending toward the ceiling, the whole floor connected by a single language of nature that moves from room to room. The location is part of the image. The 5th floor looks directly onto the Duomo: its Gothic facade fills the windows, the square below is visible at night under rain. The painted world inside and the stone cathedral outside look at each other across the glass. The space is named Sociable Smart Restaurant, with play space and terrace view.
