This live painting was created by artist Neve in 2015 in Milan, for a charity activation with Hotpoint Ariston and AIBi – Amici dei Bambini, auctioned at the Sociality Star event.

A live painting created in collaboration with AIBi — Amici dei Bambini, the Milan-based association that supports abandoned children — sponsored by Hotpoint Ariston. The event brought Neve together with the children of the association to create a canvas live, which was then auctioned at the Sociality Star charity event and donated: the proceeds went entirely to AIBi. The painting shows a child's face — white hair, green eyes — covered in a field of pure color: pinks, teals, yellows, blues laid over the hyperrealistic base in wide, luminous strokes. The color is the children's. The face beneath it is precise and still, looking outward through the wash of pigment. It is the most chromatic work in Neve's practice — a deliberate departure, appropriate to the context: color as something the children gave to the work, and to its subject. The project was covered by GQ Italia in an interview with Neve about the collaboration. This is the only surviving photo of the canvas.
